1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or accessing Voco Speech ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Voco Speech for your personal or commercial purposes, depending on your license tier.
- Free Plan: Access to basic features and standard generation limits.
- Pro Plan: Access to advanced features, higher generation limits, and priority support.
3. User Conduct and Ethics
Voco Speech provides powerful voice cloning and synthesis capabilities. You agree to use this technology responsibly.
You strictly agree NOT to use the Software to:
- Clone the voice of any person without their explicit consent.
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or harassing.
- Create "deepfakes" intended to deceive, misinform, or harm others.
- Impersonate public figures, government officials, or other entities for malicious purposes.
Violation of these terms may result in the immediate termination of your license without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
- The Software: Voco Speech, including its code, design, branding, and original product materials, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- Your Content: You retain all rights to the audio content you generate using Voco Speech, subject to applicable laws. We claim no ownership over the output you create.
5. Voice Cloning, Rights, and Acceptable Use
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to upload, process, clone, synthesize, and use any voice, audio file, script, or other content submitted to the Software.
- You must not clone, imitate, or synthesize the voice of any person without their explicit authorization or another valid legal basis to do so.
- You are solely responsible for obtaining any permissions required from voice talent, creators, rights holders, or other affected parties.
- You must not use the Software to impersonate a person or organization in a deceptive, fraudulent, harassing, or unlawful manner.
- You are solely responsible for your inputs, generated outputs, distribution of generated content, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and platform policies.
We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the Software is being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
6. Open Source Software
The Software includes third-party open source components that are licensed under their respective terms. Please review our Open Source Notices page for attribution and license information.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Software. AI-generated voices may have imperfections, and we do not guarantee they will be indistinguishable from human voices tailored for every use case.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voco Speech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Software after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
